Digbeth Dining Club isn’t your usual dining experience. We strip back the frills and fanciness of fine-dining and offer an authentic, unique experience where we let the food do the talking.
Our aim at Digbeth Dining Club is to provide a platform for the best street food traders in the UK to cook quality, locally-sourced and honest food to the people of the Midlands.
Our traders cannot hide behind a kitchen door, everything is upfront and personal; cooked fresh, right in front of you, using often ingenious cooking techniques to maximize both the flavour and the theatre. At anything from £5-£7 a dish, our traders make sure that their food is affordable for everyone.
Whether it’s after work drinks, a family evening out, or night-time revelry, Digbeth Dining Club is accessible to anyone and everyone all year round.
Street food is one of the UK’s fasting growing industries at the moment, and in the past five years we have given a platform to over forty new businesses to start their own projects. Several former traders who began their careers at Digbeth Dining Club now have their own restaurants.
Spotlight is a quirky single room bar & event space built underneath one of Digbeth’s many Victorian Railway Arches. With cherry red leather chesterfield sofas and sturdy steel bar stools, tables and chairs Spotlight is a comfortable place to hang out despite it’s Industrial feel. The various pieces of art around the venue give Spotlight the feel of a venue that wouldn’t be out of place in London’s trendy Shoreditch. Spotlight has cemented it’s place as the #1 after work destination in Birmingham on a Friday with “Digbeth Dining Club” which recently won Best Street Food Event at the British Street Food Awards.
