The BBC NEW COMEDY AWARDS are coming to Hockley Social Club! Join us for an epic night of free comedy. The BBC’s biggest comedy talent search is filming here on Friday 5th September and you could be in the audience!

Star of Taskmaster and Mr. Big Stuff, Fatiha El-Ghorri is joined by award-winning, pink-haired local comic, Lindsey Santoro, to judge five of the hottest comics as they battle it out for a place in the BBC One Grand Final.

For 30-years, these prestigious awards have been launching the careers of the UK’s best-loved comedians. Past entrants include Lee Mack, John Bishop, Sarah Millican, Peter Kay, Jason Manford, Joe Lycett, Tom Allen, Rhod Gilbert, Alan Carr and Dan Tiernan to name a few.
