LIVE LONGE: Every Friday at Hockley Social Club

The Equators were signed to Stiff Records after Dave Robinson hired them as a session band for Desmond Dekker’s “Black and Dekker Album.” This lead to them recording their cult album Hot! in 1981, and becoming the flagship reggae / ska / 2tone band of the label, that inspired the likes of the Beat amongst others, and took them around Europe and America. 35 years later, they reformed, taking back the craft on stage and in the studio. Today, The Equators continue the journey on stages and festivals  all over the UK as well as composing and releasing new music, spreading joy with their high energy reggae and infectious songs.
