Plastic Dreams Presents: Grooverider + Colin Dale
For our last ever Plastic Dreams event at Artum, we’re pulling out something truly special.
We’re honoured to welcome Grooverider — a name etched into the foundations of UK Acid House, Rave, and Drum & Bass. Legendary status in the UK scene is earned, not given — and Grooverider stands tall as one of the true pioneers of underground dance music.
What makes this night even more extraordinary? Grooverider will be stepping away from his usual cutting-edge selections to deliver a rare Acid House set, revisiting the sound that launched his career during the explosive days of Sunrise, Biology, The Eclipse, and Rage.
And that’s not all…
✨ Colin Dale joins the Plastic Dreams lineup ✨
We’re delighted to announce that joining Grooverider on Saturday 18th October is another pivotal figure of the UK Acid House scene: Colin Dale.
In the mid-80s, Colin was among a small group of early adopters bringing the sounds of Chicago and Detroit to the UK. Through his pirate Kiss FM show, he introduced thousands to the music that would change British society forever, influencing future icons like Fabio and inspiring a generation of techno luminaries.
From Rip at Clink Street to Sunrise, Biology, Energy and his own seminal Knowledge events with the late Colin Faver, Colin Dale played a vital role in shaping electronic music culture in London and the UK. His presence on this lineup makes the night not just special — but historic.
Plastic Dreams events have always been intimate affairs — boutique sessions for just 125 people. This final edition is your chance to catch two true icons up close, powered by a high-spec sound system and delivered with all the comfort and style of a carefully curated club experience.
