Symphonic Session (Festival Edition) with the CBSO at Herbert’s Yard
Symphonic Sessions at Herbert’s Yard
We’re hosting a special edition of Symphonic Sessions at Herbert’s Yard this summer, in collaboration with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) — bringing a festival-style evening of live music with a classical twist to the yard.
This multi-genre experience is designed to be explored across three stages. The evening begins on the Discovery Stage, showcasing an eclectic mix of contemporary works from composers such as Caroline Shaw and Max Richter. From there, guests can unwind at the Chill Stage before moving into the Feel-Good Stage, featuring a wide-ranging programme from classical favourites like Haydn through to modern hits including Charli XCX.
Alongside the music, Herbert’s Yard will be serving up its usual food and drink offering. This event features street food from Greidy’s (wings and strips) and Banquet 1415 (Argentinian dishes), with fully stocked bars open throughout the evening. DJ Chris Goodchild will also be playing between sets to keep the atmosphere going.
