Our Coventry Venue Gets A Rebrand!

There is a new name for an old favourite, as the Digbeth Dining Club’s city centre venue is set to pay tribute to Coventry‘s history. Formerly known as Coventry Dining Club, the city centre venue has been renamed as ‘Cofa’s Social’ in a nod to the original name of the city.

Under its new name, Cofa’s Social plans to expand its offering to create more of a relaxed, event-led experience for visitors. Located in the heart of Coventry’s vibrant FarGo Village, Cofa’s Social has gained immense popularity since its permanent opening in January.

Initially launched as a series of pop-up events, the venue’s success inspired the organisers to further enhance the experience for visitors. Street food will continue to very much be at the heart of what they do, they say.

The venue will continue to see an award-winning street food offering that will change on a week-to-week basis. Featuring the likes of Leave it to Esmie, Yardbird, Beef on the Block, the Paneer Wrap Company, Bad Boy Wings and so many more, Cofa’s Social has pledged to continue to be Coventry’s number one destination for street food.

Embracing the city’s cultural diversity, Cofa’s Social will now offer a range of events, including themed brunches, live music performances, and comedy nights. These additions aim to create a relaxed and event-led atmosphere, encouraging families and various communities to come together.

Explaining the rationale behind the rebrand, Jack Brabant, co-founder of the event company, said: “We started Fargo Village as a food-led experience, which has been very well received by locals and visitors alike. Now, we believe it’s the perfect time to offer even more events and experiences, leveraging our expertise in music, comedy, and community events.

“Witnessing the success of our comedy and music events in Birmingham, such as Digbeth Dining Club, Herbert’s Yard, and Hockley Social Club, we are confident that Coventry residents will appreciate what we have in store. We have tried to carefully consider what the people of Coventry desire in terms of experiences, and this expanded offering will cater to a broad audience, showcasing the best of what Coventry has to offer.”

To kick off Cofa’s Social’s revamped events, expect to see full Fargo Village Takeovers, Bhangra Brunch, comedy nights, monthly jazz nights, dog-themed events on Sundays, Open Mic nights from local musician Dan Connolly, and so much more across the year. Every event will be complimented by a quality street food offering.

And as part of the rebrand there is exciting news for Coventry City fans. The transformation of the bustling venue includes installing Sky Sports.

They promise exclusive discounts for Coventry fans visiting the Cofa Social before games, starting with the highly anticipated match between Leicester and Coventry on August 6. There will also be a packed calendar of sporting events throughout the year.

Cofa’s Social is open every single Thursday to Sunday over the year and is located inside FarGo Village on Far Gosford Street. Entry is free and families and dogs are welcome.
